(Notes: According to Alton Murray who is credited with a piece in the History of Schley County, Cornelius Murray was buried in Marietta. This piece also states that Cornelius was married to Julia Elizabeth Spivey. This conflicts slightly with the repeated references to and multiple signatures of E.F. Murray in her pension application. She was to have lived and raised her children in the Mt. Vernon area and indeed the children are recorded as buried in the Mt. Vernon cmemtery, however I don't know where Mrs. E.F. Murray is buried.)
