Eli Stewart, 1st Lieutenant Co. "A," 27th Ga. Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 19th day of August 1910. P.E. Taylor, Ordinary of Schley County. (Notes: There are indications that this pension was "Disapproved 12/2/1911." Marriage records from Marion county found on the Marion county archives indicate that Stephen Murrary married Harriet A.M. Lightner on 3 Oct 1853, rather than the dates given above. Schley County marriage records show a marriage of a Harriet Murray to one Reuben Argyle in Schley Co. on 30 Jun 1883. I don't know how that figures into this, but the application would lead one to believe Harriet had a second marriage. Perhaps this was another Harriet Murray or perhaps there was a divorce. I don't know. Even more confusing is the fact that Stephen Murray and Harriet A. Murray are both buried at Concord cemetery.)
