Mention has already been made of the appointment of Mr. Massey, of Milledgeville, to a similar position on the same route. The run, however, has not yet commenced, but is daily expected to begin. Additional Comments: This would most likely be Edward W. Cheney who was living in the household of John Newton Cheney in the 1880 census and identified as son. He was 11 years of age at the time of the census. There is a W.E. Cheney buried in the Ellaville cemetery born 12-13-1868 and died 6-27-1900. I believe this is probably the same person.
