ELLAVILLE'S FIRST BALE
Ellaville, Ga., August 15.---(Special)---The first bale of new cotton was 
brought in yesterday by Dr. J.R. McMichael.  It was classed middling, weighed 
400 pounds and bought by Judge B.A. Strange for twelve cents per pound.  It 
will be shipped today to I.B. English & Co., Macon, Ga.  Macon could get most 
all the raised here by a little effort.
