Sensational Suit Breach of Promise Suit Filed in Clerk's Office It seems that the people of Schley Co. are to witness a case of unusual occurrence, indeed one of the rarest in the history of Schley County, that of Breach of Promise Suit brought by Miss Stella Tyson VS. A.J. Hill, both of this place. From the allegations set out in the Plaintiff's declaration, we learn that Mr. Hill and Miss Tyson were to have been married December 25th, last, but on the appointed day the supposed to be groom was beyond the limits of the county visiting relatives in South Georgia. The bride, to have been, lost no time in securing legal council and proceeded at once to file suit for $10,000.00 damages and $200.00 for expenses incurred in the preparing for the marriage. The case will be a novel one to most people and promises to be one of the most interesting ever filed in the county, as both parties are very prominent in social circles and belongs to two of the best families in the county.
