Bush last week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts and daughters, June and Jane, visited relatives at Blakely on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Snipes spent Tuesday with their sister, Mrs. Lillie Wells at Tazewell. Mr. and Mrs. B.T. Bush of Americus, visited their parents Sunday p.m. Mrs. E.T. Harrison and Miss Mary Snyder were in Americus last Sunday afternoon. The benefit supper at Hopewell Church was quite a success. Those who were too busy to come sent in their financial support, which was appreciated very much. Forty dollars was taken in to add to the improvement fund. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Snyder spent Sunday with relatives at Cairo and Albany. Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Bronwood visited Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Snyder and Mrs. E.E. Tondee Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W.I. Snyder of Perry visited relatives here on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Snyder, Miss Betty Snyder, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Snyder visited their aunt, Mrs. Hollis Duke and Mr. Duke of Sumter county Sunday afternoon. Mr. H.C. Wall of Savannah, is visitring his family this week. Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Collins, Billie McCorkle and Mary Nell Collins visited Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Wall Sunday afternoon. They were returning from a visit to relatives at Ft. Mitchell, Ala. Miss Margie Sellars and Miss Bettie Snyder were in Montezuma on business Monday afternoon. Mr. L.H. Tondee is ill at this time. His daughter Mrs. Horace Fennu is visiting her this week. The Hopewell WSCS will serve supper to the Methodist Men's Club on Friday night, October 5. Miss Hazel Wall of Atlanta spent the weekend with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Harrison and Miss Mary Snyder were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wingard Sunday night.
