UNION RECORDER, Milledgeville January 29, 1889
Dr. Bosworth, assisted by Dr. Cheney of Ellaville and Drs. Barrow and Taylor 
of Americus, removed a three pound tumerous mass recently for Mr. Marion 
Livingston of Schley county.  Mr. Livingston has long been a sufferer, and the 
operation completely removes the whole trouble and he will now be a healthy, 
hale and hearty man.  Mr. Livingston had not slept for five weeks because of 
suffering, but he sleeps now like a babe.
