A Serious Loss

We regret to learn that Hon. A.C. Murray, lost his gin house, screw and mill, 
saw mill and thirty bales of cotton, near Ellaville on Wednesday night last.  
There was no insurance on the property and the loss is estimated at about 
$5,000.  The fire was accidental as it first occurred in the afternoon and was 
thought to have been entirely extinguished, but caught a second time late in 
the night.  Mr. Murray has our deepest sympathy.
