The Schley County News  Thursday, July 4, 1889

Little Preston, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. McCrory, fell from a tree 
Tuesday p.m. and received a dangerous wound in the head.  Dr. Smith had to put 
the little sufferer under the influence of chloroform to examine and dress the 
wound.
