Doyle

Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy, aged respectively 80 and 85 years, residing in Schley 
County near Tazewell, spent last Monday night with Hon. and Mrs. J.S. Rogers.  
Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy are a very remarkable couple, notwithstanding their 
advance years, they made the trip from their home to Doyle, a distance of 12 or 
15 miles on foot and did not appear the least wearied.
