He was born away back yonder in 1793 or 94, and is getting to be quite an old man. He claims to have printed the first copy of the Republican for the present editor on the 22d day of January, 1851, and he was then over fifty years of age. He bids fair to live several years yet, as he is quite vigorous and lively. The Republican hopes that he may live his century and have a good time of it.
