The defendant was brought here yesterday and placed in jail. He will have a preliminary trial before R.C. Meadows, J.P. The coroner empaneled a jury yesterday, and after having the wound examined and hearing the terstimony, found that William Taylor came to his death by a blow on the head, inflicted by Robert Heath, and the same was murder. Robert Heath is a son of Mr. William Heath, of theis county, who is one of our best citizens, and he has the sympathy of the entire community. The fuss originated about a line between some land, and Taylor was cursing William Heath, father of the defendant, when young Heath struck him with a scoop and killed. Additional Comments: Robert Heath is buried in Ellaville cemetery, b.4 Feb. 1873 d. 2 Jun 1945. I was unable to lacate a burial for William Taylor.
