HEATH HAS BEEN CAUGHT
He Killed William Taylor and the Coroner's Jury Called i Murder

Ellaville, Ga., March 27--(Special)--Robert Heath, who killed William Taylor, 
was captured yesterday morning in Macon county at the home of his uncle by 
Deputy Sheriff John Hagler, assisted by Sheriff Gilmore, of Macon county.

The defendant was brought here yesterday and placed in jail.  He will have a 
preliminary trial before R.C. Meadows, J.P.

The coroner empaneled a jury yesterday, and after having the wound examined 
and hearing the terstimony, found that William Taylor came to his death by a 
blow on the head, inflicted by Robert Heath, and the same was murder.

Robert Heath is a son of Mr. William Heath, of theis county, who is one of our 
best citizens, and he has the sympathy of the entire community.

The fuss originated about a line between some land, and Taylor was cursing 
William Heath, father of the defendant, when young Heath struck him with a 
scoop and killed.



Additional Comments:
Robert Heath is buried in Ellaville cemetery, b.4 Feb. 1873 d. 2 Jun 1945. I 
was unable to lacate a burial for William Taylor.
