PEACOCK HOUSE Ellaville has one hotel, but that one is an excellent hostelry. This popular house is run by Mrs. L.H. Peacock and is run in a "jam-up" style. For thirty years its doors have been open to the public and for thirty years the traveling public have enjoyed the meals that the Peacock House has served. The Peacock House is situated on the main tourist route from Americus to Atlanta and to Columbus. This hotel enjoys a spledid patronage both winter and summer and every guest is a booster for the Peacock House and for Ellaville.
