One of them looks of a blue color, the other is spotted, or rather, a little pied. They are supposed to be between Knoxville and the upper edge of Jasper county, as they were raised in the up country. If any person has taken them up and attempted to work them they will find one of them quite unruly when first put in the yoke. Any information respecting said oxen will be thankfully received, by letter directed to Pondtown post office, Sumter county, Georgia BENJAMIN JENKINS Additional Comments: There has been a little debate in times past about exactly which county Pondtown actually resided in prior to the formation of Schley county. Old maps seem were not conclusive. This would seem to indicate Sumter county.
