SOUTHERN RECORDER, Milledgeville May 25, 1858
SALE OF TOWN LOTS
On the first Monday (7th) in June next, we will sell at public auction to the 
highest bidder, BUSINESS AND RESIDENCE LOTS in the new town of Ellaville, the 
county site of Schley county, Ga., which is located less than one-half mile 
due north of Pond Town, on the road leading from Americus to Columbus, in a 
high elevated oak and hickory grove.  Terms made known on the day of sale.  
Also, sealed proposals will be received up to the same time for building a 
Court-house and jail--Plans and specifications can be seen at the Clerk's 
office.
