Also, a quantity of swamp or bottom lands, ditched and dried. There is a good dwelling-house, Gin and Packing Screw, and all other necessary out-buildings. The lands are considered as among the best for cotton and corn growing. The plantation is situated on the public road known as the lower Lumpkin road to Oglethorpe, and 14 miles southwest of that place, one of the finest cotton markets in the south.
