A.C. ALEXANDER PASSES FRIDAY
Funeral services were conducted at Waverly Hall Saturday for A.C. Alexander, 
79, prominent west Georgia lumber manufacturer, who died at a Columbus 
hospital Friday after an illness of two days.  He was the father of Frank 
Alexander, manager of Alexander Brothers Lumber Company and prominent citizen 
of Ellaville.  Mr. Alexander operated lumber mills at Waverly Hall, Ellaville, 
Talbotton, Columbus and Cataula.  Survivors include his widow, three daughters 
and two sons.
