ALLEN RITES ARE HELD THURSDAY
Final tribute was paid Mr. B. F. Allen, 53, well-known farmer, carpenter and 
sawyer of Ebenezer community at funeral services conducted at Ebenezer Baptist 
church last Thursday afternoon.  Mr. Allen died at Prather Clinic, Americus, 
Wednesday, of a broken back suffered in a fall from a building August 24.  His 
passing is mourned by a wide circle of friends.  Mr. Allen was a leader in 
church activities and taught a Sunday school class at Ebenezer.  Surviving are 
his widow, the former Miss Mildred Jones, eight children, Mrs. W.G. Tyler , of 
Draneville, Sgt. Henry C. Allen, Louie, Louie Bell, Leem Ray, Clark and Martha 
Allen.
