Judge C.L. Battle, an aged and honored citizen of Schley, died in Ellaville 
Sunday night at the advance age of 94.

Rev. M. Hair, Rev. Hugh Oliver, John R. Short, B.T. Peacock, Wm. Green, John 
Royals, Simeon Goodroe and Robert Rutherford attended the funeral of Judge 
Cullen Battle at Ellaville, Monday, and took part in the Masonic service.
