The Schley County News  Thursday, August 26, 1897
The only child of Mr. and Mrs. Baugh, an infant scarcely four months of age, 
died at their home in this place Saturday evening.  The little one had been a 
sufferer all of his short life.  Mr. and Mrs. Baugh recently moved to 
Ellaville from Buena Vista and are comparative strangers to our people, but in 
their bereavement they found many kind friends.  All that human skill could 
suggest was done, to no avail.  The little flower laden coffin was tenderly 
borne to the cemetery Sunday afternoonwhere a short burial service was 
conducted by Rev. G.P. Pournelle.  May the words of the Savior:  "Of such is 
the Kingdom of Heaven" lighten the gloom of the stricken hearts.

(Notes:  Apparently this grave was not marked as I can find no record in the 
cemetery listings.  According to the "History of Schley County," this infant 
would have been Nadine Elizabeth Baugh born April 28, 1897 to Alexander 
Stephens Baugh and Ophelia Elizabeth Wall.)
