Eloise Drane Beeman, 88 of Buena Vista, GA died November 24, 1998 at Marion 
Memorial Nursing Home, Buena Vista, GA.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 28, 1998 at the Chapel of Tante 
Funeral Home, Buena Vista with Rev. Tucker Lewis officiating.  Burial was 
Buena Vista Cemetery.

Mrs. Beeman was born March 12, 1910, the daughter of William Edgar and Louella 
Davis Drane and the granddaughter of Dr. William Arthur Drane.  She was born 
in Ellaville, GA, grew up in Columbus, GA, and attended Georgia State College 
for Women.  After her marriage to Julian Krekor Beeman on April 29, 1933 she 
taught school in Buena Vista, served as assistant to the county clerk in 
Cuthbert, and later as legal secretary.  She was a faithful member of Buena 
Vista United Methodist Church for many years.

Survivors include one daughter, Julia C. Beeman of Mineral Bluff, GA: one 
grandson Jay Jenkins; one grandaughter Jennifer Mocanu; and four great 
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Burton Wight, Sammy Taylor, Gary Wells, Bob Webb and David 
Ellis.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
