BLUE, BEDELL THOMAS
Mrs. Blue of Columbus, GA, was born August 16, 1908 in Schley County, GA, 
daughter of Edd and Willie Davis Thomas.  She was a member of Union Hill 
A.M.E. Church in Ellaville, GA, transferred membershipto Twenty Fourth Street 
Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.  She was a member of O.E.S., Chapter #482.  
She died August 7, 1977 at St Francis Hospital in Columbus after an extended 
illness. Funeral held Wednesday, August 10, 1977 at Twenty-Fourth Street 
Baptist Churuch in Columbus; Reverend M Morris officiated.; burial in Union 
Hill A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Ellaville, GA.  Survivors include her husband, 
Nathaniel “Buck” Blue of Columbus; 2 brothers, Chester Thomas of Ellavile, GA, 
Henry L Thomas of Rushville, IN; 2 sisters, Mrs. Annie McClendon of Ellaville, 
GA and Mrs. Eddie Will Minter of Rushville, IN; aunt, Mrs. Annie Lester of 
Ellaville, GA.  Peoples Funeral Service, Columbus, GA
