J.M. Bray Dead Rev. J.M. Bray, a Missionary Baptist minister of Schley County, recently died at his home after having been stricken with paralysis for about one week. Mr. Bray was about 68 years of age and had lived an active, vigorous life, and was a tower of strength physically and mentally. His heart was ever responsive to the cry of the needy and those in distress. He had a bright, cheerful disposition and folks were made brighter and happier by associating with him, as he always had a pleasant word for those with whom he met religiously, socially and in business. As a minister, he was clear and forceful and served the churches to which he was called faithfully and satisfactorily to the membership. His remains, with Masonic honors, were interred in the cemetery of County Line Church, of which he was pastor for several years. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Charles Carter.
