NEGRO LOGGER IS FATALLY INJURED
Willie Briggs, an itinerant negro, received fatal injuries early Monday when 
he was crushed by a falling tree while working with a logging crew in 
Fellowship community.  He was employed by Claude Bell.  His numerous injuries 
included one leg broken in three places, the other in one place, a severe head 
gash and internal chest injuries.  The negro is said to have lived in the 
county only a short time, and had no relatives in this section.
