Funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. W.S. Johnson on charge, assisted by the Rev. Hugh Dozier. Burial was in Ellaville cemetery. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mamie Stevens Collins and the late S.C. Collins, both of prominent families. She attended Andrew college at Cuthbert and Georgia State Normal College at Athens. A member of the Methodist church, she was active in Sunday school, missionary society and other work of the church. Always admired by a wide circle of friends, the pretty young woman endeared herself to all by the patience with which she bore four years of illness. Surviving are her mother; a sister, Mrs. R.E. Sullivan, of Ellaville; two uncles, J.H. Stephens, of Ellaville, and Homer Collins, of Arlington. Pallbearers were M.J. Arrington, W.T. Tondee, H.W. Hogg, Dr. T.W. Wilson, Heyward Johnson and Eugene Dixon.
