ENCORE HEADLINES
10 YEARS AGO (1932)
Mrs. John Collum, wife of the prominent educator, the late John Collum, died 
after a lingering illness, at her Putnam home.  She was buried at Hopewell.



Additional Comments:
Mrs. John Collum was born Tommie Curtis Barnes.  Our cemetery survey which is 
based upon information from the "History of Schley County" indicates a date of 
death of 17 Jan 1930.  This death notice taken from The Schley County News, 
puts her death in 1932.  Georgia Death Index, a compilation of info from death 
certificates also states 17 Jan 1930.  It would seem perhaps the paper date is 
in error.
