CHAS. F. CRISP PASSES AWAY. After a brief illness, Mrs. Charles F. Crisp died at her home at Americus on Tuesday morning. She was a widow of the late Charles F. Crisp, speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon. Before her marriage, Mrs. Crisp was Miss Clara Burton, of Ellaville. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carr S. Glover and Mrs. G.F. Davenport, and two sons, Judge Charles R. and Frederick Crisp, and a sister Mrs. J.N. Scarbrough. She was 59 years of age. (NOTE: Clara Belle Burton and her husband Charles Frederick Crisp are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus. The surviving sister, Mrs. J.N. Scarbrough, was formerly Ella Leila Burton and the lady who gave her name to the town of Ellaville. She is also buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus.)
