Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Coffin residence near Ellaville. The Rev. Guilford Prickette and Rev. John F. Carr officiated. Burial followed at the Harmony Cemetery in Richland. Mrs. Coffin, the former Marguerite Hill, was a native and life long resident of Schley county. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Hill. Mrs. Coffin was a member of the Ellaville Methodist Church and the Rainbow Garden Club in Ellaville. She was a graduate of Andrew College, Cuthbert. Survivors include her husband Paul Coffin, Ellaville; a niece, Mrs. Jane Lewis, Athens; and two nephews, Robert J.Hill of Athens and R.B. Hill of Ellaville. Serving as active pallbearers were Franklin Beasley, Charles Coffin, John Gill, Bob Hill and Steve Austin. Honorary pallbearers were Rob Hill, Steve Arrington, M.J. Arrington, S.T. Bar! nes, Paul Tondee, Wilson Tondee and Ed King. Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville was in charge of arrangements.
