Holloway at 2:30 o'clock. Miss Dykes died Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a long illness. Elder Hassell McCorkle and the Rev. Hugh Dozier officiated at the rites, and burial was in Ellaville cemetery. Born April 25, 1878, she was the daughter of the William W. Dykes and Fanny English Dykes, pioneer Schley countians. She made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Holloway. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Holloway; two brothers, W.W. Dykes, Americus, and C.L. Dykes, Andersonville; a niece, Mrs. Georgia B. Perry, Ellaville; five nephews, W.W. Dykes, Jr., New Orleans; Hawkins Dykes, Atlanta; Wingate and George Warren Dykes, Andersonville; and several great-nieces and nephews.
