Eason, occurring at their home on last Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock. For some months past Fred had been in Atlanta, where he held a position with the Bell Telephone Company, and about three weeks ago he was taken with typhoid fever at that place. On last Thursday, a week ago, he reached his home here, from which time his condition grew rapidly worse until the sad end came. At the age of eighteen, he was just entering upon man's estate. possessed valuable qualifications requisite to success in life. His was a young, bright, open and joyous disposition, ever kind hearted and true. Always plainly spoken, he never indulged in deceit or hypocrisy. It is indeed sad that he should have been taken just in the morning of life. As a token of sympathy for his bereaved family, and an expression of esteem for the one departed, the Methodist church here, where the funeral services were held this afternoon, was filled to the overflowing by true friends.
