FUNERAL HELD FOR W.A. FITZGERALD
Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. B.C. Cheek Wednesday 
morning at 10 o'clock for W.B. Fitzgerald who died of a heart attack at his 
home in Clearwater, Fla., Saturday morning.  The Rev. W.A. Joyner of Americus 
and the Rev. Hugh Dozier of Ellaville officiated.  Burial was in the local 
cemetery.  Mr. Fitzgerald was a native of Rose City, Mich.  Survivors include 
his widow, Mrs. Wilbur Thedford Fitzgerald, formerly of Ellaville; his father, 
A.T. Fitzgerald, Rochester, N.Y., and a brother and two sisters of New York 
state.  Pallbearers were M.J. Arrington, Leonard Freeman, C.C. Williamson, 
Eugene Dixon, L.L. Raley and Herman Holloway.
