The Schley County News  Friday, Dec. 9th 1910
Homer Frazier, a negro of this place, was killed on Wednesday by Jerry
Jordan, another Negro boy.  It seems that the Frazier negro was drinking and
got into a dispute with Jordan, who was up on a house nailing on shingles;
Jordan came down and struck Frazier on the head with a hammer, bursting his
skull, which caused almost instant death.  Jordan made his escape and so far
has not been captured.
