FREEMAN A telegram to Mrs. J.L. Duncan, coming from Atlanta early Monday morning, brought the very sad account of the death of her brother, Mr. C.O. Freeman, which occured very suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday night at that place. Later newspaper reports give it that Mr. Freeman brought about his own destruction by having taken an overdose of Landanum. Mr. and Mrs. Duncan left Monday morning for Waverly Hall to attend the funeral services and burial. (Note: Landanum (Tinctura Opii) used as a pain reliever and sleeping medication, containing I gram opium) File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/schley/obits/f/freeman521nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 1.2 Kb
