JOHN FREEMAN DIES AT HOME HERE Funeral services were held at County Line Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. John D. Freeman, 68, well-known Ellaville woman, who died at her home Thursday night at 9 o'clock after an illness of five weeks. The Rev. Roy J. Bond officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. A lifelong resident of Schley county, she was the former Miss Mary Eubanks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Eubanks. She and Mr. Freeman were married in February (19), 1906. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, Leonard Freeman, Ellaville, and Frank Freeman, Americus; one daughter, Mrs. G.W. Royal, Schley county; a sister, Mrs. J.M. Kent, Schley county, seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Freeman, Curtis and Carl Royal, Coy Carswell, Hugh and Herman Eubanks.
