Graveside services were held Friday, July 17, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ellaville Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Love officiating. A native and lifelong resident of Schley county, Mr. Fulford was born December 20, 1920 to Charlie M. Fulford and Jessie Lee Murray Fulford. He retired from Greenfield Metal Products Company, Ellaville after many years, was a World War II veteran with the U.S. Army, member of American Legion Post # 191, Ellaville, and was a member of the Primitive Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Christine Jones Fulford, Ellaville; one daughter, Maxine Sporyz, Lake Blackshear; one sister Verna Johnson, Ellaville; six granchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will include members of the Ellaville American Legion Post # 191. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday.
