         Final Rites For Mrs. Tobe Gill Here Thursday
  Funeral services for Mrs. Tobe Gill, 64, will be held Thursday 
afternoon at 2 0'clock from the Hightower Memorial Methodist Church
with the Rev. A. M. Wade, Sr. and the Rev. Wilson Donehoo officiating.  
Burial will be in Southview Cemetery with Pasley Funeral Home in charge
of the arrangements.
  Mrs. Gill died Tuesday at the Upson County Hospital following a brief 
illnes.She was the wife of the late Tobe Gill, deputy sheriff of Upson
County.
  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bert Chapell, Midland;  Miss
Voncile Gill, Thomaston;  one son, George Gill, Thomaston,  one sister,
Miss Lula Hammonds, Thomaston;  one brother, J. S. Hammonds, Lizella;
four grandchildren.



Additional Comments:
Susie Hammonds Gill was born 12 November 1894, died 11 August 1959.  She is
the daughter of William T. Hammonds and Emma Alcey Hill Hammonds.
She married George Tobe Gill.
