GRIMSLEY The Rev. W.T. Grimsley, well known farmer and minister of the Chattahoochee Freewill Baptist Association, died at his home in Marion county Tuesday, October 20, at 4 o'clock after having been in ill health for nine months. He reached his 64th birthday September 20. Funeral services were held at Palmer cemetery Wednesday at 3 p.m., with Rev. H.L. Lumpkin officiating. Survivors include his widow, the former Miss Etta Golden; six sons, Terry Grimsley, of Concord; Joseph Grimsley of near Ellaville; Leonard, Lester and Leroy Grimsley, all of Marion county; three sisters, Mrs. Sallie Jones, of Albany; Mrs. Mary Bloodworth, of Roberta, and Mrs. Elmire, of Phenix City, Ala., Nine grandchildren. He was the son of the Rev. and Mrs. E.C. Grimsley of Schley county. Pallbearers were: Charlie Cromer, J.H. Hill, Norman Greer, J.C. McDaniel, Zeubia Anthon and Mr. Greer.
