FUNERAL HELD FOR REV. GRIMSLEY
The Rev. W.T. Grimsley, well known farmer and minister of the Chattahoochee 
Freewill Baptist Association, died at his home in Marion county Tuesday, 
October 20, at 4 o'clock after having been in ill health for nine months.  He 
reached his 64th birthday September 20.  Funeral services were held at Palmer 
cemetery Wednesday at 3 p.m., with Rev. H.L. Lumpkin officiating.  Survivors 
include his widow, the former Miss Etta Golden; six sons, Terry Grimsley, of 
Concord; Joseph Grimsley of near Ellaville; Leonard, Lester and Leroy 
Grimsley, all of Marion county; three sisters, Mrs. Sallie Jones, of Albany; 
Mrs. Mary Bloodworth, of Roberta, and Mrs. Elmire, of Phenix City, Ala., Nine 
grandchildren.  He was the son of the Rev. and Mrs. E.C. Grimsley of Schley 
county.  Pallbearers were:  Charlie Cromer, J.H. Hill, Norman Greer, J.C. 
McDaniel, Zeubia Anthon and Mr. Greer.
