Family Funeral Program
GRUNDY, LOLA
Miss Lola Grundy was born October 17, 1908 in Ellaville, Georgia to Lee and 
Carrie Grundy.  She attended schools in Schley County, GA and was a member of 
Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Schley County.  She and her mother moved to 
Sharon Hill, PA in 1948.  Having never married she lived with her sisters, 
Ethel Grundy Davis and Myrtle Grundy Owens and later with her grandnephew, 
Vincent Jordan.  In Philadelphia, she joined the First African Baptist Church 
and served on the Senior Usher Board.  Ms Grundy died in July 14, 1993.  
Funeral services were held Monday, July 19, 1993 at the chapel of Claude J 
Edney Funeral Home, Darby Township, PA; Reverend Alexander Thompson 
officiated.  Burial in Mt Lawn Cemetery.  Survivors include her sister, Ethel 
Grundy (Robert) Davis.  Claude J Edney Funeral Home, Darby Township, PA
