The Rev. Roy J. Bond officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Born in Marion county January 9, 1904, Mr. Guy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Guy, and had been a member of Buena Vista Methodist church since youth. He formerly was on the police force there. He married Miss Vera Owen of Schley county on August 13, 1928. Surviving besides his widow are a son, Hollis, 12, a daughter, Jane, 9; two brothers, R.J. and Ernest Guy; a sister, Mrs. Nelms, Pontiac, Mich. Pallbearers were Walker Williams, Tom Hollis, Jr., W.H. Croxton, Tom Rogers, H.E. Parker and Lellius Goodroe.
