DEATH OF THOMAS J. BATTLE

Ellaville, Ga., December 2.--(Special)-- Mr. Thomas J. Battle, son of Hon. 
C.L. Battle, died yesterday of pneumonia.  Mr. Battle was a young man full of 
promise for future usefulness.  His wife died not long since, and three small 
children are left fatherless and motherless.  Mr. Battle's death has cast a 
gloom over our community, as he was universally liked.
