Ellaville, Ga., June 24--(Special)--Our town was shocked this afternoon to hear that Mrs. H.J. Williams was drowned. A voy came running down in town saying that Mrs. Williams was in a barrel of water at home. Her husband and several others ran up to the house and found her in a barrel of water. Dr. Cherry was immediately called, and the most persistent efforts made to resuscitate her, but in vain. It is supposed that while watering the flowers she had a spell of vertigo and fell in. No one was at home at the time except her little daughter, about ten years old, who was asleep. Mrs. Williams was loved by all who knew her, and her death has brought sorrow to many hearthstones. Her husband, child and relatives have the sincere sympathy of this entire community. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
