CONCORD NEWS
Funeral services were held at Concord church Tuesday morning for Mr. Bud 
Hammonds, who died at his home Monday at Junction City, La.  Mr. Hammond was 
born and reared in this community and had many friends and relatives here who 
will regret to learn of his death.  

Additional Comments:
(Transcriber's note:  This would be Wm. L. Hammonds, son of Wm. T. Hammonds 
and Emma Alcey Hill.  Although the newspiece states death in La., it was 
Junction City, Ga.  This would indicate, and Georgia death records tend to 
confirm that the Jan. 14, 1939 date on his marker at Concord are in error.)
