INEZ DEVANE HILL
Mrs. Inez DeVane Hill, age 97 of Macon, died Sunday morning, April 4, 2010 at 
the Coliseum Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of 
Watson-Giddens Funeral home, Ellaville, GA.  Burial followed in the Hopewell 
United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rev. Robert Poston officiated.  Visitation 
was held one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Hill was born September 27, 1912 in Schley County, GA, the daughter of 
Eva Robinson DeVane and Arthur L. DeVane.  She was the last of five siblings.  
She worked as a bookkeeper for many years.  Mrs. Hill was a member of the 
Vienna United Methodist Church in Vienna, GA and loved attending the senioe 
center.  The family wants to thank all the care-givers at Villa Rose in Byron, 
GA.

Mrs. Hill is survived by one daughter and son in law, Nell and Johnny Plunkett 
of Macon, GA; one son and daughter in law, Ken and Deloris Hill of Winston, 
GA.  Four grandchildren, steve and Sandy Plunkett, Melanie Skipper, Lisa and 
Barrett Kriener, and Nancy Hill; four great grandchildren, Justin Baughcum, 
Alan Baughcum, Kali Baggett and kaden black.  Several nieces and nephews also 
survive.  She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Hill.

Active pallbearers include Barrett Kreiner, Steve Plunkett, Alan Baughcum, 
David Barwick, and Marvin DeVane.
