"JUDGE" HILL Funeral services for G.A. "Judge" Hill, 80, were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Pinson Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. George L. Zorn conducting the services. Interrment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Hill was born in Schley County and was the son of the late P.Z. Hill and Lucy Duncan Hill. He had been a resident of Sylvester for more than fifty years and was a member of the Methodist church and Masonic lodge. Mr. Hill had been in ill health for several months, his condition becoming critical three weeks ago, dying Friday night at Phoebe Putney Hospital. "Judge" Hill as he was affectinately called, had made his home in Albany with a daughter, Mrs. P.A. Seigler, since his retirement. Survivors include one son, Walter Hill of Thomasville; three daughters, Mrs. P.A. Seigler, of Albany, Mrs. M.G. Seigler of Wilmington, NC, and Mrs. J.L. Tison of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. L.B. Gardner of Oglethorpe, Mrs. S.A. McMahon (McMahen), Oglethorpe and Mrs. A.J. Hill of Ellaville; one brother Gordon Hill of Oraville, california, one niece, Mrs. E.H. (McMahen) Williams, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were L.D. Bozeman, davis Hudson, H.H. Woolard, W.F. Bridges, Elzie Clayton and E.j. Ford. Banks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
