His death was caused by a stroke of paralysis of only a few days duration. Mr. Hill was 76 years of age and spent the greater portion of his life in the county. He leaves a reputation as a citizen that is spotless and hundreds of friends to bespeak his praise to future generations. He left a host of relatives, among the number are Mr. E. Hill and Mr. P.Z. Hill, of our town , who are brothers of the deceased. He was buried at Concord Church last Sunday with Masonic honors in the presence of the largest assemblage ever gathered at that place to witness a burial service.
