HILL Final tribute was paid Mrs. Hattie Hill, 53, who died at Albany last Tuesday, at funeral services at Ellaville Baptist church Wednesday afternoon. Death followed an illness of several months The Rev. Charles D. Carter officiated at the services and burial was in Ellaville cemetery. The daughter of J.T. Poole, a well-known retired Schley county farmer, and the late Mrs. Louise Walters Poole, she was married to W(illiam) W(esley) Hill of Schley county in 1911(Schley Co. Marriages by Max Tatum indicates this marriage took place in Schley Co., 13 Feb 1908). They moved to Buena Vista several years ago, and to Albany last winter. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include her husband, W.W. Hill; two daughters, Misses Uldean and Lessie Hill, Albany; three sons, Hinton, E.F. and Roy Hill, Albany; three sisters, Mrs. Fletcher DeVane, Ellaville; Mrs. Mattie Wall, Schley county; Mrs. E.F. Hill, Sylvester; four brothers, H.T. Poole, Sylvester; H.C. Poole, W.T. Poole, R.B. Poole, Schley county; father T.J. Poole, and several nieces and nephews in Schley and Worth counties.
