HOBBS Funeral services were held at Panama City, Fla., Thursday for Mr. C.C. Hobbs of Ellaville, who died there Tuesday while on a visit. Mr. Hobbs had been in failing health for more than a year, but his death was unexpected. A representative of the Kraft Paper Corporation, Mr. Hobbs had lived in Ellaville for more than two years and had made many friends here. Information regarding his life and funeral services was unavailable Thursday, as all members of the family were away. The Ellaville Sun Friday, November 10, 1939 TRIBUTE PAID C.C. HOBBS Funeral services were conducted at Panama City, Fla., last Thursday for Mr. C.C. Hobbs, 45, well-known citizen, who died there last Thursday while on a visit. Mr. Hobbs had been in failing health for a long period. Coming here three years ago as a representative of the Kraft Paper Corporation, Mr. Hobbs made many friends who regret his passing. Survivors besides his widow include two daughters, Mrs. Bruce Collins and Mrs. Floyd Zediker, both of Panama City; two sons, Carl and Lamar, both of Ellaville, five brothers and three sisters.
