HARRISON HOLLOWAY DEAD One of Our Oldest and Best Beloved Citizens Passes Away At eleven o'clock last Thursday, the death angel transplanted from earth to heaven the spirit of Uncle Harrison Holloway, one of Schley county's pioneer citizens. Of Uncle Harrison it can be truly said, he lived a christian life. No encomium is too great to be said of him, no praise too worthy to be bestowed upon him. He was verily the pillow of County Line church and it was largely due to his efforts that this church was built. Within its walls often has his voice gone up in shouts of triumph! His prayers were benedictions that fell upon the hearts of the people, and caused many to seek the Savior. The little church today stands as a monument to his fidelity to the cause of Christ, and while his body rests in the graveyard near by, the good influence of his life will ever live in the hearts of his friends and neighbors. Mr. Holloway is survived by six children: Messrs. J.R., L.M., J.T, amd George Holloway, and Mrs. W.A. McMath, and Mrs. Lumpkin, of South Georgia. Additional Comments: H.H. Holloway's marker at County Line Methodist church cemetery lists date of death as 7 May 1912.
