HOLLOWAY PASSES AWAY Funeral services were held at Macon last Wednesday for Mrs. Tommie Snipes Holloway, 74, a native Schley countian, who died at her home there last Tuesday after an illness of two weeks. She had been in declining health for a long period. Born in Schley county, she was the daughter of John W. and Georgia Snipes, prominent pioneer residents of this section. About 50 years ago she was married to J.D. Holloway (6 May 1890, Schley Co.) and moved to Macon. He died 16 years ago. She was a member of Centenary Methodist Church at Macon. Services were held at the residence late Wednesday with the Rev. Charles A. Jackson, Jr., her pastor, and the Rev. James H. Wilson of Tifton, officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery there. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. W.M. Durden, Macon; Mrs. Thelma Johnson, and Mrs. Gertrude Nelson, both of Albany; three sisters , Mrs. R.E.L. Walters, Ellaville; Mrs. E.W. Smith, Sr., Macon; Mrs. J.C. Camp, Blakely; two brothers, W.S. Snipes, Florella, Ala. Pallbearers were W.M. Durden, J.M. Durden, H.L. Weaver, W.S. Bridges, J.L. McPherson, E.W.
