HOLLOWAY, 83 Mrs. Ransom Holloway, pioneer citizen of Schley county, died of pneumonia Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Larkin. She would have reached her 84th birthday December 15. Mrs. Holloway had been residing with her son, T.N. Holloway, at Harrison, Ga., for the past year, but recently had returned to live with Mrs. Larkin. Funeral services were held in County Line Methodist church Monday afternoon, with the Rev. Roy J. Bond and the Rev. J.W. Shippey officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Born in what is now Schley county, December 15, 1856, she was the former Miss Fannie Turner and was married to Mr. Holloway, also a native Schley countian, in 1877. He died December 4, 1935. Surviving besides her daughter and three sons, the Rev. P.T. Holloway, Savannah; R.R. Holloway, Jacksonville, Fla., and T.N. Holloway, Harrison, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Bolden, Plant City, Fla., one brother, Charley Turner, Camilla, Ga.; 21 grand children and six great grandchildren.
